  • They are so cute! I got my border collie when he was about

3 months old. He has always been terrified of water since we got him. We have a pool and he won't go near it. He won't even go in the grass after it rains. Any suggestions?

  • @mtsnowolf I know some of them don't like water in their face, but mine usually won't stay out of any body of water, even a small bucket or water bowl. Have you tried putting one of his toys in the pool? Have you gotten in the pool with him? If you have or know any other dogs who like water, let him play with them. I now have a 6 month old BC and she was afraid at first, but now she goes in, but she doesn't like to play with the hose like the others.

  • omg! your BCs are so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the brown n black one is soooooo different! (but gourgious!) IS IT EVEN A BC? my BC puppy is sooooo crazy shes so lil but is very intellegent! great video! =D

  • There are about 3 or 4 there that are brown and black, they are all related and yes, they are pure Border Collies. There is only one in the video who isn't a Border.

  • That's Robbie, she was my first one. I'm sorry about your pup. Did people always ask if yours was a Border Collie because they'd never seen a tri-colored one? They try to say that mine is an Aussie with a tail.

  • I want to own that many border collies! That looks like loads of fun!

  • cute! I love the red one :)

  • puppy mills

  • 9!

  • to many? lol

  • @mtsnowolf i've heard that if you take it into the shallows and hold above the water until it relaxs then slowly let it in. Waiting until it relaxs if it stresses out again or not going all the way in if necessary can work. It may take a lot of time but i've never met a bc that didnt warm to the water eventually.

  • i counted 9 and two other types of dogs

  • i want to go to there.
