A summary of my off ice rotation practices in the last 3 weeks and some little skating (backspin, sit and layback).
I have totally recovered from injury, got my rotations back in 2 weeks after 4,5 month long break and even improved. I am not posting skating videos much recently because there isn't big change with the spins and now I have to spend 1 hour/week on the axel now. I have landed my axel on the ice again after this 4,5 month long break but I couldn't record it. I focus so much during my axel lessons that I can't think of recording anything.
Kind comments are welcome thanks for watching.
I'm 29, skating for about 4 years, working on rotation since 2007.

  • your sit spin and ur layback are looking soooooooooooooooo much better. nice off ice exercises, that straight line at the rink is really helpful, I wish I could do off ice exercises at my rink!

  • Thanks a lot. I always try to find a line both on and off the ice, I really need it.

  • oops, I wanted to write "i'm NOT so new with the backspin", thats why it doesnt travel. For some reason, I don't travel much on other backspins too.

  • yes definitely. I got my axel much sooner than my sitspin! :D

  • do they have that line at your rink??? you are so lucky!!! i just feel like grabbing a marker and drawing a straight line on the floor at my rink lol

  • Man i Hate back spins! Your Prety Good Though!

  • thank you, I'm now so new with the backspin, maybe that's the reason. I have some back sit and camel attempts too (in other vids) and I'm much more inexperienced with them. I wish you the best

  • haha ok,i guess i have to keep on practicing then!!:-)

  • Thank you. Nevermind the sitspin, I had troubles with it for 3 years hehe. I couldnt keep the legs together for a long time, not to mention getting down. It came to me all of a sudden a few months ago. It was the last spin position I could achieve :)

  • Thank you very much. Thank God I recovered faster and smoother than I expected. Thanks for every word :)
