What if your on your way to your seat?or don't have a seatbelt on cause your soo panicked,then the airbag won't help if it's on a seat belt,right?....what about inertia ..the documentary says it deploys when the sensors "measure forward impact",so your in your sit ,there is impact/crash,your thrown forward in your seat because of inertia..does your airbag deploy then ? Because if it does it can hit you up on the chin or face or does it have a lag and deploys then, cause if it does that defeats

No, airbags are not pointless. Many crashes would be survivable if people could survive the g forces involved in sudden deceleration. Many airplane crashes are survivable provided that people are conscious and are able to exit before the plane is fully on fire--if, indeed, the plane burns at all, which it doesn't always do. It might be good to learn something about crash survivability before making this claim.

airbags in planes are pointless, cuz if you do crash, the plane would either explode or cause some serious damage.

These AmSafe Airbag Seatbelts are a great addition to General Aviation airplanes. While on newly manufactured aircraft they should be installed on all general aviation airplanes.
Just think of the number of lives that could be saved in General Aviation.
