http://www.pbs.org/pov Wed, Nov. 11, 9PM On call 24 hours a day for the past five years, a group of senior citizens has made history by greeting nearly 800,000 American troops at a tiny airport in Bangor, Maine. By filmmaker Aron Gaudet, "The Way We Get By" is an intimate look at three of these greeters as they confront the universal losses that come with aging and rediscover their reason for living.
@computerpurple : Serving our country? Hardly! If they were "serving our country" they'd be home with their own business, and taking care of their families. This is all about increasing hegemony across the globe for the benefit of international capitol finance. The parallels between America and the Old Roman Empire are astounding. The Roman Empire crumbled, and fell from within. Now, what do we see happening in America lately?

These folks saw my son off to Iraq last year and Bill Knight greeted him when he came back. God Bless them!

Well about time to see something uplifting being said about those who so bravely serve our country. You won't see something like this being made by the likes of hollyweirdos such as Robert Redford , Oliver Stone , Michael Moore , Steven Spielberg
