I don't think that there are many 1980's Fender Super Champ demo videos on Youtube so I decided to shoot one. This is an earlier production Super Champ and I have to admit it does have a couple tweaks to it. First one is the Eminence Ragin' Cajun speaker. Second is changing the tone caps from .1 & .047 to a pair of .022's. I also changed one cap for the overdrive mode to clear up the driven sound. It is a really cool little amp that's loud enough for gigs and records really well. Yes..........I have the footswitch. That's my early 90's G&L ASAT. Great guitar....! http://www.300guitars.com/

  • your a beast on that guitar, I was wondering how this was recorded? great playing again Billy

  • @glassbottleblues Thanks for the kind words..!! I recorded it on a simple little Flip camera. Nothing fancy. Btw- My band has a CD coming out soon with a bunch of guitar playing on it if you're interested. -Billy

  • Will a Ragin Cagin work in that little amp? I can get one but it's 75 watts....is that too high....I'm a dumb azz.....sorry..........that is some great picking son......

  • @goffbum In this video I have a Ragin Cajun in the amp. A Red Fang 10 is another great choice..!! -Billy

  • @300guitars Billy I messed up mine is a new super champ and I saw a ragig cagin speaker but it was 75 watts....didnt know if it would work in my amp, I think mine is only 15 watts....

  • @goffbum The Ragin Cajun will work fine in your amp. My 80's Super Champ is only about 15 watts or so and both the Cajun and the Red Fang 10 (50 watts) sound great in my amp. -Billy

  • Shiiite...I mean shiiiite that was some awsome pickin....

  • @goffbum

You only have to match the speaker to the amp insofar as the speaker has to be able to handle as many watts as the amp puts out. It doesn't matter if the speaker can handle more than the amp puts out.

  • Nice!! Nice tone, feel and ease of play. Rock on!
