ROBBERY!!

As you can clearly, clearly see in the first 3 seconds of my video, we Irish were robbed of a TD (big surprise considering they stripped us 6 points earlier in the game). Like the South Bend Tribune writes, "In the third quarter, the Irish again appeared to take the advantage, this time on a spectacular catch by junior wide receiver David Grimes. Grimes laid out parallel to the ground to snare a throw from quarterback Jimmy Clausen, and appeared to hang onto the football, holding it in the air as he slid across the turf.

However, officials decided upon review that the ball had touched the ground at some point during the catch, though it seemed difficult to detect on the replays shown on the ESPN broadcast."

Those nasty Pac10 officials. Me, bias?

one of the best catches I've ever seen... robbery is a good word. corruption is a good word too. maybe we can add conspiracy to the list. that replay official should be fired, and the Pac-10 should issue a formal apology to Notre Dame and to David Grimes for robbing him of that catch.

Totally awesome catch ruined by the Pac 10 jackasses. For his effort, Grimes gets nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves unless they are suffering from cataracts! One of the greatest catches in ND and NCAA history and some group of pompous asses ruins it by their hate for Notre Dame.

Because that was a bang bang play that an official had to make a judgment call in the moment, there are calls like that missed sometimes. Was it missed? Yes I think it was. But this was called a catch and from EVERY angle was verified and was overturned for no apparent reason. That is why ND fans are mad.

How about the non call of the helmet to helmet contact ND had on the Stanford QB as he was going down. Knocked his helmet completely off. No flag thrown at all. Would have been first down Stanford on ND 20. You don't hear Irish fans complaining about that call.
