This is first video of my multi touch prototype table. Thanks to NUI group a nice idea become project and true.
Specs of the prototype:
- Crypto Webcam Modiefied with Band Pass Filter and 120 degrees wide angle lens (running @ 20fps)
- BenQ PB6100 HD projector
- 4 IR 850nm illuminators
- Mirror
- PC (P4 3,2GHz/1GB RAM/ATI HD1650)
- Acrylic: Plexiglass 10mm
- Diffuser: Map paper

Specs will be upgraded when prototype will be ready to change cabinet.

  • Thats cool - we recently added windows 7 capability to ours too. What methods did you use?

  • Hi Touchscape. Thanx for posting. This is a rear Di setup with a BenQ projector. Win7 with multiouchvista, CCV 1.2 and CustomSurfaceInput (for MS Surface)

  • Great stuff mann.... I am planning to make this and wanted some pointers.

    1. Can I use the plexiglass sheets available at Lowe's and frost them?

    2. I was planning on using WiiMotes to get the IR blob data, do you know if there is any driver to make it work with Win7 multitouch?
