I had the same bike bought brand new in 1969 and I remember having to push the button on the carb two times I seem to remember they were called ticklers if memory serves me right, what a bike, I used to do wheelies on it, I loved it more than my 1979 sportster with Siamese pipes I still have BSA lapel pin they gave you with purchase.
