Damn...you guys slaughtered that carp...lol. if you catch carp throw it on ice to save as much meat before you fillet it. Then just eat the meat around the blood line...should taste better .

nice video guys.. in Europe carp is a delicacy. In fact it tastes like "deer" it has a red full of protein meat. To me there are not so many bones. Pike has got more in my imho.

Carp is tasty if you cook it right. Other countries, Asian and European, consider carp to be an aquatic staple. Though I don't think it's caught on here in the states. Personally, I've only had it fried, and it was pretty good.

Carp can be delicious, but you need to know what you're doing, especially with a fish that large. That's with lots of species though. Even popular fish like bass and catfish need to be prepped a certain way to increase palatability once they reach a certain age/size. Just slapping it on the grill ain't gonna cut it.
