  • I'm a native born Canadian and was introduced to Cricket only a few months ago by a friend who lived in Guiana. I've been playing religiously ever since then and so far everyone I've introduced the game to has fallen in love with it. Problem is the population as a whole knows nothing about the game. Moreover, the promoters and advertisements that show just how tough, fast paced, and exciting the game is are simply nonexistent. Cricket is badass, if you disagree, you don't know cricket.

  • Ridiculous. A Canadian team without canadian's.

  • cricket in canada has grown so much since 1994... and we can cleary see that by the performance of the canadian team... which could even be better if they had a better selection system. Also very little is done in the country to help the u23 and u19 players, they need to find more sponsors to have the u23 tournments

  • If soccer can't survive, what are the chances of cricket surviving?... lol u got to be kidding.. its a joke...

  • It has come a long way, all the best for 2011

  • Go For the World Cup India And All The Best Canada make something happend.

  • i hope cricket stays in Canada because i love cricket and i might be moving from Australia to Canada

  • Stuff like this is farcical and does cricket no favours at all, 11 paki's with canadian passports doesn't constitute growth of the game. One or two...fine, but the bulk of the team has to be homegrown, like in canadian rugby, which, you have to say is miles ahead of cricket in this regard. If you can't find any homegrown players good enough, then you don't deserve a national team...simple.

  • since we are getting into 2nd and 3rd generations immigrants from cricket playing countries we should see more development programs

  • Thanks for posting!
