I'm the guy in the white leathers that's in front of you at the beginning of the video. There must have been people between us when the incident happend because I didn't see the collision but I was right behind you when you kept going straight. I thought you just blew the turn and played it safe instead of trying to pull back in line.

am I wrong in thinking that your not supposed to be within 6 feet of the riders closest to you? I've been out to the Nashville track, have yet to ride it, but was listening to some of the instructions (it was last fall) and that was a basic tenet, don't pass unless you can make the full pass, and don't ride abreast..seems you broke both of those rules, but then, I gather this is the advanced class, so the same rules may not apply. either way, scary encounter glad you and he stayed up.

Yeah, advanced group doesn't have the 6 ft rule. I didn't break any rules, but if I had to do over again I wouldn't have tried to pass up the inside like that.

I was wondering why you kept going through the cones...I was the guy you started out behind on that session. Good job keeping upright!

So you were behind me when it happened? What kind of bike and leathers did you have that day?
