You know, three very similar bands covered this song in three decades. All three were twin guitar bands with a charismatic vocalist. The Stones In The 60s, Aerosmith in the 70s, Ratt in the 80s. Oh, and the cover...it was on all three band's self-titled debut albums.

1st ever album? "The Rolling Stones" from Decca (1964). Think I still have it? This'd be highlight, plus "Route 66" and "Oh Carol" (Chckleberry) "Mona" (Elias McD plus couple of other bcoers. Happy days...

@MrPurser I was around playing and singing this in the 60's. The Stones are not a patch on the original by Rufus Thomas. Their earliest hits were just copies of R & B songs... The Animals, Beetles, Them/Van Morrison etc all did the same thing. All rock is the illegitimate child of R & B.
