that's just it, he DOESN'T make the routine plays and he's also a stupid fielder. I remember one game vs Atlanta, bases loaded, one out, slow roller, instead of flipping home, Wright went for the web gem and bare handed it to first, wide throw, 2 runs score.
The players who DON'T show up on web gems all the time are the best fielders because they're good enough that they don't have to make the crazy plays. For instance, Wright's bare handed catch was totally unnecessary.
