Part 5 - The Anthem is Psalm 23 - The Lord is my Shepherd - followed by the Presentation, Eucharistic Prayers - Sanctus and Benedictus. This is the April 13, 2008 church service - the Fourth Sunday of Easter at Trinity Episcopal Church, Fredonia, N.Y.
Yes, we do Rite I at penetential seasons (Lent and Advent.) The Sanctus is in the 1984 Hymnal, S128, setting by William Mathias.

I haven't seen the Canon performed this way ( with the priest facing the altar ) in almost 30 years. It's nice to know it's still done this way in places.
The priest does a nice job chanting the Sursum Corda and Proper Preface.... but I'm unfamiliar with this Sanctus.
I wonder, does this church ever celebrate Rite I ? I prefer it. Of course, I'm old enough to remember the 1928 prayer book ( when we were "miserable offenders" and communion was only once a month...)
