This short combines ritualistic footage from the Peter Cushing horror vehicle Land of the Minotaur (1976) with italian song-freak Mina's 1966 hit "Ta Ra Ta Ta Ta Ta (Fumo Blu)". A political work, this piece was inspired by the long shadow cast by California's spooky Proposition 19 and its implications. Um. Editing, remixing and subtitles by Brandon Downing. Premiered at the November 6th, 2010 installment of Poetry Time, with readings by Geoffrey Nutter, Rebecca Wolff, and Crystal Curry.
