@narutoclaymore They are called avatars. Jean is noted as been destined to bear and unite with it. With it, Jean is easily one of the most powerful characters in the entire marvel universe.

Aside from being the phoenix, Jean herself is an omega class mutant who is the only one said to be more powerful in telepathy than Xavier, but she is still inexperienced enough to do so. And then she has telepathy :) It's a matter of persepctive who is stronger out of emma and Jean (w/o pf) but I'd go with J

@ThePickledPepperPick I'm not a comic reader, sadly I read at the side line when people who seemingly read the marvel comics since the beginning debate against which character is superior to others. There have been many many many scans noting the unification in entity between Jean and the phoenix force which in all universes, multiverses, and even omniverse has happened only once. She is the only host of the phoenix force, the other people who bear it, only a fraction of its power

@narutoclaymore The force didn't choose her because it's using Jean as its host? We're obviously talking outside that scenario - many times had the force apparition shown itself to Emma and once taken over her, but all to no success...

As for Emma and Prof X, it's a hit and miss for both of them, but Emma's telepathic immunity is the ability to give her an advantage. And no, Jean without the PF isn't nearly as good as Psylocke even. Lol. She's all potential, no output... yet.

@ThePickledPepperPick Have you read the comics or are you going by your own fabricated scenarios? Emma Frost is an omega level Telepath, but she is NOT stronger or even as strong as Xavier. The force didnt choose her because what? The phoenix force is one with Jean :p Both Xavier and Jean are stronger than Emma (even Jean without PF)

@ThePickledPepperPick you r right thank u because some people say there is no such thing as omega telepath and doesn't really know what telepath is or mabey they just saw x-men the last stand and thought jean is the most powerful telepath but it was my fualt to ask how emma got into illustion because mastermind is the most powerful illustionist and he can illustion charles xavier himself

@WaffleKing99 I loved Jean before the whole Phoenix line revelation... I think it ruined her persona (though unarguably making a better story for the whole X-Men continuum)... They pretty much turned her into another unreasonably powerful and immortal character like Superman or sorts. I hate cliche superheroes like that... :(

Either way, Emma Frost had been my all time top hero/villain. She's such a typical villainous character... except she's a hero. Lol.

@ThePickledPepperPick I know. I love Emma's personally. She acts like she is above everyone else and it's pretty cool. I like her way more than Jean, because I find jean irritating with the whole Phoenix storyline.

@antemiusenteri Emma's stronger than even Professor X himself. And the reason the Phoenix force doesn't chose her as its host is because Emma can manipulate the Phoenix Force, not to mention her Telepathic Force immunity when in her Diamond Form.

@WaffleKing99 Well I guess that's true... and I've seen the anime and they really did portray her less "confident" and quite frankly, less b*tchy than she really is... But I would understand that if they put Emma in the series the way she is in the Marvel Universe, there would be no story line since no opponents would par her unless they showed Phoenix. XD

@ThePickledPepperPick Yeah, but even before Genosha, Emma was a skilled telepath, she should have been able to defend herself against Jason.

@walteion96 The difference all boils down to their usual fighting style (regardless of the writer)... Phoenix is more of a straightforward fighter, taking advantage of her telekinetic abilities, and Emma is more of a manipulating character, usually messing with her foes' minds and ultimately controlling them using her telepathic and astral abilities.

@walteion96 Emma's mutant level is uncharted, because it was always assumed that she surpasses Omega. Both Jean and Emma cannot be killed (both have the ability to resurrect or transfer bodies though Emma's body can be reconstructed if she dies in Diamond Form). The only difference between the two is that Jean is telekinetic above being a Telepath, and Emma has a whole roster of Astral abilities. IMO, Astral Abilities beat telekinetic abilities.

@WaffleKing99 The time frame of this anime (though non-canonical) is post-Genosha Incident. Safe to say, she hasn't mastered her Diamond Form and its potentials yet. Probably not knowing either that it makes her invincible and impervious to Telepathic offense.

It might be a good idea to mention what language the subtitles are in, but I pretty much got the drift of the dialogue. I understand a lot more spanish than I speak.
