I came in to a campsite at 9PM and just dropped everything and set up. No dinner, no nothing. The next morning I woke up and looked around and was surrounded by 12,000 foot, snow-covered peaks. This Camera is a fisheye lens so it's really difficult to see just how majestic the surrounding mountains were. Later that day I would fall in a frozen river, lose all of my maps and navigation equipment and then have to navigate my way out of the Sierras with only a rough idea of where I was and no idea of where I was going.
