The first was ok but yes the sequels where over long pointless drivel.

@pjwillman Actually, the first statement he made in that "thread " for want of a better word sounded really dismissive of games and those who waste time playing them, I've meant to go back to the podcast and check (I was driving that day) if he really was that dismissive - it was a week of two before the film of Halo was discussed.
He's right in many ways, story for quite some time was very much 2nd place to set pieces and level design..

I just read Kermodes autobiography. It is hilarious. He talks about this review in the book so I had to come check it out for myself. Amazing.
