"Ego is always LOVE'S opposite. Love raises vibration and ego lowers it. Ego is a mental essence that each of us is made to endure for as long as we walk the planet. Ego is that thing that tells us in our mind, "No you can't do that ... because you're not talented, thin, good-looking, wealthy, intelligent, young, strong, interesting or intuitive ENOUGH!" This is the voice of the Liar. The Liar is the voice of ego. Let me put it this way: wherever there is separation, condemnation, self-doubt, lack-mentality, bitterness, hostility or segregation ... you can best be sure ego is not far behind. Ego wants to keep you earthbound and Heavenless for as long as it can. It is an essence that has been sent here to learn just as you have. However, it has a duty to challenge each of us and cause us to learn as it learns for itself. There is nothing to fear about the ego. It is just a fragile, spoiled child that screams and rants until it gets what it wants. And like any child, if you ignore it during its temper flare long enough, sooner or later it will get the message that those kinds of methods are not productive and will not yield positive results. If you understand the ego, you will understand the concept of the devil. Satanic frequency is the LOW-RANGE frequency that surrounds us in our collective thinking. It is the opposite of the HIGH, INCOMPREHENSIBLE LOVING frequency of God. Please hear me out on something...be careful of the music you listen to, the movies or TV you watch, the gossip or negative speaking you participate in. All these things LOWER the Soul's vibration. Lower vibration brings depression, disillusionment, disease and despair. The lower our Soul's vibration falls, the more these dark things come upon us. Once you fall into LOWER vibration, immediately seek to amend it with LOVING, HIGHER VIBRATIONAL THOUGHT. It is like anything else, the more you put into something, that is what the end result will be."

I've just come in from being out, and I have to say, this society is still insanely dangerous. Nearly ended up in a fight with 2 dickheads.

Its things like this which make feel like I NEED my reptilian brain...even though it was also obviously the cause of why those people were being dicks!!

Education, Religion, Social cliques, Media all do thier part in getting everyone to think alike- CLONES OF EACH OTHER. The whole be a"team player" mantra can be credited to the reptilian brain as well.

Have you ever wondered why people all through the ages who have never come into contact with each other adopted and practised religion in such a common manner. It's because they all had something in common- reptillian brain.

Yes, but the common hindrance in thought and conciousness is the reptillian brain. Once it no longer has psychological output peoples' true nature and uniqueness will blossom or reveal themselves. The reptillian brain just wants to conform and fit in because that's a primitive survival trait.

To have a balance of reptillian mammal and human would mean imbalance of the conciousness and could lead to unbalance, which is the case with society. Life without the reptillian brain(the pyscological functions anyway) would be... Humanity would do great things. There wouldnt be any need for anarchy because no one would want to enslave and thus no one would want to pursue freedom.

Put it to you this way: we needed the reptillian brain back when we were less evolved creatures because without higher brain functions and thoughts all we could do was "act"-"kill or be killed" "take what's mine" rather than rationalize. Now that we have higher brain functions, INTUITION replaces(or atleast should replace) INSTINCT. In fact, Intuition is the transmutation or evolved form of instinct. The more we move up and away from the reptillian brain, the more instinct turns into intuition.

I have to disagree here, although I see what you're saying.

We still live in a very dangerous world, and instinct pays well to have and keep. I'd prefer to keep my 'reptilian' nature, as long as it's balanced, all is well. Personality/psychological imbalance tends to cause neuroses, and that isn't pretty.

Plus I must say that my instincts have served me very well in the past.

It's kind of a 'meet halfway' deal. The rulers of the world offer a society that is structured along the lines of the reptillian brain and the people who already have a reptillian brain play right into it because that society appeals to thier instincts. The people think it's normal to live this way because they themselves have very active reptillian brains. Bottom line- we dont need the psychological traits of that brain anymore because we have higher thought and can survive without using it.
