"The role of the police is not to serve and protect the people. It is to serve and protect the system that rules over the people. To enforce the relations of exploitation and oppression, the conditions of poverty, misery and degradation into which the system has cast people and is determined to keep people in. The law and order the police are about, with all of their brutality and murder, is the law and the order that enforces all this oppression and madness." Bob Avakian revcom.us

I hope he never is in law enforcement again.

FUCK I HATE ALLLLL COPS

Wat a piece of shit I hope some one shoot him

He disregarded protocol and common sense. I did not hear a warning such as, 'Drop your weapon or I will shoot.' Additionally, an individual such as an officer ought to know how to handle a firearm. What I mean by this is officers could aim for non-fatal areas of the body; i.e. legs rather the chest or head.

this is at the very least a clear case of negligence. If someone kills somone due to inability to do thier job properly they should be punished criminally. Malice has nothing to do with it. He disregarded police policy. As ussual the police look after thier own...

@Allanlegacy43 We've made up many gods to suit our liking, and infinity more can be invented. There's no reason to prefer one above any other. A comforting belief, but untrue.
When you die your brain does all sorts of things. It's no more real than an LSD user having a bad trip.
The bible is a collection of political and historical documents spun into a web of mythology. If it existed it would be my moral duty to oppose such a mysogynistic, genocidal and downright sadistic god as Yahweh.

@soylentgreenb Wrong, wrong, and wrong. God is real and he settles all scores, best to be on his side when you kick it! Can you imagine the horrors that await a person who goes to hell. I know what your gunna say, 'its not real" really? have you died? have you gone to the other side? No and neither have I but many people have died and came back to live after several minutes, many of them have horrorfying stories, but I guess like the bible they all made it up just for the fun of it, case closed!

@Mgamerz The victim was shot 4 times in his right side. The knife was found folded. At no point was he facing his murderer.

@LTS1287 He was carving wood; he was a homeless alcoholic who supported himself on wood carving. The folding carving knife he was carrying was 3 inches; knives up to 3.5 inches are legal to carry in public in Seattle. The knife was found at the scene of the murder in _closed_ position. The autopsy revealed that he had been hit 4 times in his right side; which means that at no point was he facing his murderer.
IT'S CLEAR: A 1987 LAW MAKES SEATTLE POLICE -ABOVE THE LAW-!!!!! That is why he was not charged with murder... YET, the police COMPETELY CONTRADICT themselves: At the 7:01 minute mark they begin to explain how, in many ways, the cop broke procedure. How about shooting innocents in the background? How about unlawful discharge of firearm? He walks up to a guy and BLOWS HIM AWAY within 10 seconsd. IS THAT NOT MURDER?!! IS THAT NOT EVIL INTENT?!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG HERE?!! ANSWER: CORRUPT GOV!!
