Verizon's plans are much more expensive compared to Sprint. Both are CDMA, so both 3G data performance are about the same. Verizon's LTE 4G is faster than Sprint's WiMAX 4G, though, but if you're using a 3G phone, I guess that won't matter.
I'd say go with Sprint if you are price sensitive.

im thinking of going over to sprint also (currently on att) but i wanna know if i can add lines without having the same smart phone data plan as the main line and just have the other lines on regular data plans. i also hear their data loads super quick.

get sprint devil lol. the free mobile to mobile is unbeatable.. and they got cool phones, cheap plans. verizon locks a lot of the phones' functions and installs their crap on them.

A similar plan that you have for Verizon is only 79.99 at sprint.
thats with unlmited data unlmited text unlmited turn by turn gps. You get 1000 landline min with unlmited n/w. You also get any mobile to any mobile meaning you can call any cell regardless of carrier without using your anytime min.
