  • Schmu, you are a great man for doing this and your skills are nice too!

Did you use any glitches or can this game legitly be beat this fast?

  • @SpiffyBiscuits5

The problem ist this game MUST beat so fast.

The sorcerylogo down-right is the time limit.

when the symbol is empty the game is over.

I don`t use glitches but an tool assisted emulator.

  • Dad got this game for me as part of Load Star magazine which came with free stuff in a menu system which dad put in the C64 hard drive .

Hell we still have this game but we do not have a good tv for it as you have a choice of good picture and no sound or no picture and good sound.

  • Thanks for this replay. I had this damn game and could never beat it. I only found out years later my game was glitched and there was no way TO beat it.

  • OMG the thunder sound is awesome!

  • So... mmh to finish this game you must 'use' some kind of poison at Stonehenge? Well, that makes sense...

  • @pilarp23 - Certainly by today's standards at least, but this was a very well programmed game for its time, and probably used up all the RAM C64 had to offer. Also, a fantastic car game like Last V8 was actually only some 2 minutes long, but I still never managed to complete it lol (ignorance is bliss)

  • I played Sorcery for the first time around 1992 and failed to finish it. You can't make any mistake if you want to win. I finally did it and can't understand one thing. How come a game which can and must be completed in 3 minutes was sold in 1984 and people paid for it? When I first played it I was sure the game had more levels but it didn't. Would you pay for 3 minutes of fun? I don't know how expensive it was but it still puzzles me. Wasn't it an insult for customers?

  • Thanks! As you can see at the C64 Game Endings site there are three different kind of endings.
