Child Soldiers

Russian children as young as ten, are attending military style summer camps. Here they are taught to use machine guns for the purpose of becoming recruits for the notorious Russian Special Forces.
We try to imagine that those we are trying to kill are not really human. Because they have stepped on the most sacred; our home country, explains Capt Gennady Korotayev, who tries to inspire aggression amongst the children. Point the gun at him. Be tougher! As ten-year old Andrey says A lot of people could attack Russia. America! Or some of the Eastern countries. With innocence so readily discarded, what more will be lost along the way?

Im from Russia, I was in an orphinage that trained us. Personally I think US should teach its young generation some of this to build character.

This statement is very true, and something western societies have forgotten about at best or are actively trying to suppress at worst. You can't suppress the natural aggression of man without being totalitarian.

Like must of Journeyman Pictures they are nothing more then tabloid style fiction. Misleading titles and information present in all the videos they produce. Nothing about them are child soldiers this no more then cadet training like other nations have. None of them are serving in any form of combat or war.

So what is bad about this? They are not going to war. Indoctrination? I was raised by my dad , grandfather, uncles and a really butch aunt to be patriotic and could recite the preamble of the constitution about the same time as the lords prayer.

This is fun for the boys and if they want to pursue military careers why the hell not?

Also, "wars in this world" aren't so bad that we're recruiting children left and right. In all of recorded human history we have never been this peaceful. Go research some history, it's fascinating stuff.

This is a themed camp. It isn't making child soldiers to shove out into war. The title of the video is "child soldiers" yes, but this isn't an actual war situation like so many kids are forced into in parts of africa. These kids are learning important things and if they want to go on to make it a career (on their on accord) sounds like to army is happy to have them join their ranks.
