  • how do you get a badge notification for the calendar app?

  • Too primitive.

  • Sweet! I am definitely getting either the touch or iPhone now. Thanks.

  • Okay yeah so there is a 2 way sync. When you create an event for the Calendar your given the option to choose which label you want. So say I add a school event I can choose the label that is in school. When I go into iCal (after I've re-synched the phone) it shows up under that calender.

  • 2 way sync meaning syncing to the iphone from iCal, and to iCal from iPhone.

When you create a calendar event on the iphone 2.0, can you select which calendar to create the event to?

    Thanks

  • Well... with a Mac it would be easy to sync Google Calanders to iCal and then to the iPhone. Not sure what you mean by 2 way sync though. I've toyed with the calenders in the 2.0 firmware and I'll explain what I found. Your able to have different types of events (the color code) so for like Work, School and Home as an example. They are essentially separate calenders that can be all viewed individually or all together.

  • Can you 2 way sync the iphone with your computer, can it be synced with google calendars?

Also, I've heard that the iphone/itouch version 2 betas supports colored calendars, but you can't create an event in the calendar of your choice, all the events created on the iphone can only be on 1 calendar, is this still the case for iphone/itouch version 2 final?
