I have tons of goldfish but I keep tropicals too. This is a 30gal tropical tank. Drop a comment I don't mind.
The tattooed mollies were rescued from a person who wanted to flush them alive down a toilet. I do not buy tattooed fish nor do I condone the practice. It is cruel and entirely unnecessary!

I like goldfish too, but since I can only (barely) house two in a 29 gallon, I have to go with tropical. xD

@concorde232 Its simply a matter of preferance. Just like with dogs some people like pitbulls and some people like poodles. There's nothing wrong with tropicals; I have several tropical tanks now. But goldfish have more personality than many tropical fish. My goldfish are pets who seem to enjoy interacting with me where as my tropical fish (though just as well cared for) are more or less just something pretty to watch. As long as I feed the tropicals they could care less weather I come or go.
