  • wow you're so awesome! i play drums but nowhere near that kinda quality!! =) Ledgend for sure :D

  • @xbox0rox dude, you're awesome! but thanks, i've been playing for a long time, you can learn this stuff just keep at it, and master the basics!

  • @qwikstix3 what do you practice on a daily basis? what rudiments? and what rudiments do you consider "the basics"?

    Please respond:)

    P.S. Epic Rudimental Beat^,...,^

  • @ElusiveWolf33 Well the most basic rudiment is a single stroke roll. (R L R L R L R L) Very simple, and very important. Some might rather practice something more challenging, but there is always room for improvement, better, faster, cleaner. Next, the double stroke roll. (R R L L R R L L) This is where the fun begins! These are called diddles (double stroke) let the stick bounce and hit twice. Getting these nice and even will take some work. Then, the paradiddle.(R L R R L R L L) go slow at 1st!

  • @qwikstix3 what my teacher told me to a while back, in prep for marching and just to get even more speed is this 4 measures of Single Strokes 4 measures of Double Strokes 4 measures of Paradiddles Try It! It's really fun then when I start to think it's easy, add a Double-Paradiddle to the mix 4 measures of Single Strokes 4 measures of Double Strokes 4 measures of Paradiddles 4 measures of Double-Paradiddles Just giving you a tip too incase you didn't already do this:)
  • @ElusiveWolf33 yes! definitely march in drumline, you will learn so much! that exercise sounds good to me. you should also get a metronome, it is a must. any kind will do, you can get a cheap one for around 25 bucks.
