Unlock your iPhone 3G / 3GS / 4 with Ultrasn0w | iOS 3.x & iOS 4.x - 4.3.x

Today I have a complete guide to unlock your iPhone 3G/3GS/4 to use any carrier. Its very simple to do and follow this video If you wanna unlock your iPhone.

You will need...
- A Jailbroken iPhone (Check on YouTube for specific jailbreaks for different Firmware)
- A GSM SIM card (Read below for carriers I know)

First, Jailbreak your iPhone, then open "Cydia" and go to "manage" you need to add a source. To add the source, add this URL to the Text box prompting you enter a source link:
http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
*NOTE: the word "sn0w" has a ZERO.

Then press "Add Source" and it should show under "Installed Packages"

READ THIS:::: If you have the following Basebands...
iPhone 3G/3GS
* 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, and 06.15.

iPhone 4:
01.59.00

You can unlock it via Ultrasn0w. If you DON'T have the Basebands, then there is no unlock for it. You need to either downgrade your Firmware or wait.
NOTE:

iOS 4.3.1: ULTRASN0W IS BROKEN ON THIS FIRMWARE. SO JUST WAIT UNTIL THE DEV TEAM HAS UPDATED ULTRASN0W THEN YOU CAN BE FULLY UNLOCKED ON 4.3.1

Q: Will this harm my iPhone?
A: No

Q: Will I lose my unlock if I update my firmware?
A: Yes. Do not update until another Jailbreak is released for that firmware.

Q: Can the iPhone use any carriers world wide?
A: Yes. The iPhone is a quad-band phone, it should be fully supported with any carriers worldwide.

Q: I have AT&T, can i still unlock it?
A: Yes, you can. However, when you are prompt to hacktivate your iPhone, DO NOT DO THIS ON A OFFICIAL CARRIER. THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR PHONE TO SAY NO SERVICE.

Q: Is this factory unlock or software unlock?
A: Software Unlock. Most carriers can't allow you to do Factory Unlocks, even Apple wouldn't let you. Some carriers will allow you to factory unlock it so you don't have to worry about losing your unlock every firmware update.

Q: Why is it not working after unlocking?
A: Turn off 3G and Turn on Airplane Mode then turn off. And let it search for a Network.

@Realife786 That's what I told him. Plus, Apple can't factory Unlock your iPhone. You have to buy one of their 'Factory Unlocked' iPhones. Which costs more.

@lilbabun You can't 'Factory Unlock' your iPhone. Only Apple can do that. The only unlock you can do on iPhones are Hardware Unlock (Gevey SIM) and Software unlock for the compatible Basebands. Which yours isn't.

@MrYoungPat I bought this phone used from someone. The Serial Number and Model shows that this phone is originally from Japan. And I assume Softbank is the Official Carrier for this Phone. Since the Baseband was unlocked when I first got It, I then preserved It for every iOS update, therefore keeping my Unlock. In Guam, I prefer using Docomo Pacific over the carrier who has the iPhone.
