How to Ollie:

First You should place your front foot just behind the bolts when your first learning.

Next Position your back foot on the tail of the board.

Make Sure that your whole foot isn't on the board and you have some heel hanging off.

Next Bend down to get ready to spring up. A good way to practice knowing how far you should bend down in by hanging your arms in front of you until your finger tips touch the grip tape.

Now you need to jump straight up and as you are going up, snap the tail downand slide your front foot up towards the nose.

The snapping of the tail is what starts your upward motion and the sliding of your foot helps you get in the air and then even out for a clean landing.

When you land try not to land too hard otherwise it could eventually do some damage to your board.

After you learn this trick stationary try to do it in motion. After you learn how to do it in motion start practicing ollieing distances, off of things, over things, and on top of things.

Hope this helps.

  • ur board is small

  • thats a small board

  • you have a small board

  • @BoiledBlackMilk

    then ur a lanky fuk

  • Nah your doing it wrong. The reason why the nose goes up so high and your ollies look ugly is because you arnt lifting your back foot after you snap the tail down. Your back foot needs to be just above the board while your front foot pushes down to even the board out, so that the board evens out in the air.

  • But what if I could touch my board without bending my knees? =\

  • small boards i guess 1 board only

  • you jumped from ollie to a kickflip?, dont do that go pop shov it next, then 180 ollie, then kickflip,

  • wat everyone dosnt say on ollies is that when you pop the tail u need to lift it off once ur done

  • @iamaventriloquist what you do is pop hard on your tail slide your foot up the deck keep practicing this you will feel the board lifting a little after a while keep practising watch my vids and ule see how i ollie good luck
