Liberating Jesus from Christianity

How can we liberate Jesus from the mental box that turns him into an idol to worship rather than an example to follow? How can the people who have been alienated by mainstream Christianity find a more nuanced view of Jesus? How can we find a way to talk about Jesus without being labeled as fundamentalists or Jesus freaks?

Most everything Jesus spoke of can be found in the ancient mysteries... before christianity was spread through lies, fear, murder and the like.

I know many like to believe in the bible, and if it helps you be a 'better' person...okay.

but that book alone will not set you free or get you to any 'heaven' as it was not meant to do. It is a guide that you must study within the words and find YOUR meaning

oh my gosh to truley understand religion you must go back in time there was catholic before christianity christians wanted to be closer to god christians was wanting to have a relationship with god jesus died for our sins so now we have to be rebrn and in order to do taht one must be saved or baptised i would do both cathlic and christianity is pretty much the same wanna know why? cause christianity is the a rip from it im christian and thats what christians are not violent beings

I am Muslim. I have knowledge about Prophet (PBUH) in Bible in your various versions. Gospel of Jonh chapter 1 verse 21, Chapter 14, verse 16, 26, Chapter 15 verse 26, Chapter 16 verse 7-14. Izaya Chapter 29 verse 12. Deuteronomy Chapter 18 verse 18. Dear I have prove in your bible. what are you talk about.
