The side effects of excess Ritalin include:
vomiting
irregular heartbeat
twitching
dizziness
insomnia
skin rashes
weight loss
toxic psychosis
digestive problems
severe depression
convulsions (may be followed by coma)
delirium
hallucinations
and more.
Ritalin is just one of many prescription drugs teens use to get high. Like most drugs, your body will build up a tolerance to Ritalin over time, causing more and more to be needed to get the same feeling.
Ritalin and similar substances like Adderall cause long-term brain damage, and can even lead to death.
