the noise (by Hacke) and spoken word (Lovecraft's story) is good, but the fruity folk music is ridiculous.

Agreed, it's great that the Tiger Lillies are into Lovecraft but their music just doesn't fit the piece at all.

I wouldn't say that the music doesn't fit. It's entiteld "Mountaines of Madness". And the first song, along with their appearence is pretty twisted...

I think it's hard to produce a good horror movie based off the cthulu mythos. Because Lovecraft left alot of what happend in his stories up to the reader to imagine, he hinted at stuff, and you had to fill in the blanks.
