Just posting this here for those who don't regularly check out Marié's myspace. I'm looking forward to this album SO MUCH that I want to get it as much exposure as possible :-) .

Anyway, I'm really digging how this album is shaping up to sound. Between this sample, Come to Life, and the audio from Chiefwakil's, "Marié Session" video featured in the end credits, I can't wait to pre-order this album once it's available.

"Breathing Underwater" played on episode 12 of MTV's, The City. I've never watched it before but I'll try to find the clip.

From the photos, I think this will really be a little mainstream and sexy.. It sounds good, although a little less Marie' already..and I am so inlove with Marie's music.. Now I don't know what I'll feel about this album anymore. Still, I can't wait for it to be released.

I think the safe route would have been to do another album like Unfold. It was a proven production and would be guaranteed to do well. That's why I truly admire Marié for having the conviction and strength of spirit to explore new avenues and take chances. One of my favorite aspects of following artists throughout the years is experiencing the changes they make along the way; whether it's an evolution or a full 180. So, I have great expectations for this new album :-) .

As much as I mirror these sentiments, it's the inevitable truth that albums leak. That's just the way it's been and will continue to be. With that being said, it goes to show where her true supporters are.

I'm not going to lie, I downloaded the leak and am listening as I type this. I bought the North American, Hong Kong and Japanese versions of Unfold and Second Home. Listening to the leak won't stop me from purchasing the record when it comes out. I'm just one of the anxious ones.

I agree :( It's awful that that happened. Marié worked so hard on the songs, too. It's not stopping me from buying the album, though. I'm not planning on listening to any of the leaked songs. I really hope the songs get taken down from the page...
