Burj Khalifa Dubai HD 1080p - AT THE TOP - my visit at the observation deck

I was lucky to get "AT THE TOP" of the tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa (Dubai, UAE) - on 20th of january 2010. It was absolutely amazing! Unfortunaly the observation deck was closed a few days later due to technical problems. It still remains closed until today. Meanwhile you can take a virtual trip to the Burj Khalifa by watching my video in HD. Enjoy!

@RoTReignOfTerror: That bodyguard-guy at 1:12 (with sunglasses on head) grabbed my shoulder when I was trying to pass his celebrity group. They were moving very slow and I wanted to get to the oberservation deck fast. Thats why the security always stares at my camera.

I just watched my video again and I found something very interesing: Look at the guy wearing a suit right beside the sunglasses-guy: At the moment I come out of the video-tunnel he takes a look at me. Then he talks shortly to the sunglasses-guy. Then they split. After I turned down the camera to pass the group he grabbed me from behind. So if I were a bad guy - I would have had no chance to reach the prince. So the danish secret service did a good job.

HD is great, but constant zooming in and out, and shaking camera makes this pleasure a bit tougher for the viewer. Nevertheless it is an interesting experience - a virtual tour. BTW what is with people, that everyone must be on top of the world? CN Tower in Toronto is serving dinners in a restaurant at over 50m higher than this building, but there are already higher structures out there. So why we all are trying to outdo others? Isn't it enough that it is plain awesome, and looks great?

@jocreative: It was about 70$ to get at the top. No, you don't have to pay extra for cameras. But you and your baggage are scanned for weapons before entering the elevator.

How much did it cost you to get to the top? Do they allow cameras for free or did you have to pay for that too?
