Historians and researchers have stated that the majority were from Korea, China and Japan, but women from the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Dutch East Indies, Indonesia, and other Japanese-occupied territories were also used in "comfort stations". Stations were located in Japan, China, the Philippines, Indonesia, then Malaya, Thailand, then Burma, then New Guinea, Hong Kong, Macau, and what was then French Indochina.

  • "government investigation" pshhhh... wow we ALL know that the Jap military did it. Even if "private" agents set up the brothels the Japs did it. There is no difference.

I am Japanese, and I feel ashamed of what our (former) leader of Japan has claimed. Admitting to all the atrocities now will save all the trouble in the future... why won't the Jap government understand that?

  • @YoshiEatsWasabi I feel sorry to hear that.

  • SHAMEFUR DISPRAY!!!!

  • @benlinushasarrived

    Horrific experience ?

Do you mean that Korean sociery called ex-comfort women as "dirty whore who earned money from Japanese army" before 1990s?

Korean people changed their attitude 180 degrees after 1990s and started those pitty old women as "heroins of tragedy" or "symbol of pains Korean suffered". How hypocrites !

  • @2008venom

You fail to make any sort of valid point about the horrific experiences of Korean Comfort Women. By asking about Korean males you have make a definist fallacy, which is a type of conditional fallacy. Are you incapable of directly addressing the issue at hand?

  • If 200,000 Korean girls were dragged by Japanese army, then what were Korean guys doing?

Just sitting and watching that their daughters were taken away ?

  • @BigbangKorea21 Japan doesn’t need to say sorry for the false accusation which called the confort women of Koreans. Obviously what South Korea says is pure fiction!

Demonstration of this fake story by the South Korea government is libel and slander.

  • @undertakerRach Please. Most girls were forced. It's just like you saying to a rape victim that they enjoyed the ordeal. Korean ladies were never allowed the prerogative of refusing a customer. They were killed or punished if they refused. Please watch my video so you won't be blabbering non sense and propaganda and lies

  • @BigbangKorea21 (Part2)In other words, Korean ladies decided to get the job. In fact, they got a lot of money. Also, they amused themselves by participating in sports events with both officers and men, and attended picnics, entertainments, and social dinners. They had a phonograph and in the towns they were allowed to go shopping. The Ladies were allowed the prerogative of refusing a customer.

Korean comfort women worked as the same as Korean prostitutes who are working in every where now.

  • @BigbangKorea21 (Part1)According to the Japanese Prisoner of War Interrogation Report No. 49, which was reported by U.S in Aug 20 to Sept 10, 1944, 20 of Korean ladies were working as comfort women in Japanese camp during WW2. The "house master" that means manager of the comfort house, received 50 to 60% of the girls' gross earnings depending on how much of a debt each girl had incurred when she signed her contract.

  • @undertakerRach We are not talking about the voluntary prostitutes. We are talking about the women and young girls who were kidnapped from their homes, or tricked into being slaves.
