ADOPTED on 1/22/11 @ 11:30am
My Story:
I am a 3 month old, male, kitten that came into the Tallahassee animal shelter after a little boy found me barely able to walk and starving. When I got to the shelter the staff cleaned me up and fed me....TONS, I was skin and bones and then they noticed my leg. It was broken and healed at a wrong angle making every step painstaking. I went through an amputation surgery and have spent the last month in recovery with my foster mom. I am healthy, up-to-date on my vaccines, neutered, microchipped and ready to be yours forever!!!

My Perfect Home:
I would love to be an indoor kitty! I have already spent more time than wanted outside....
I also love laps!!! All I want to do is purr in your lap and have my ears scratched!
I will do best in a quiet, 1-3 person home. I become shy with new people and usually hide away until guests leave.
I reside with two large dogs fine, but don't really play with them.
I have not been around other cats and would do best in a 1 or 2 cat household, I really want your lap to MYSELF!!!

My ID# is A123898
Call Shannon Carroll at 850-891-2950 if interested and print http://www.talgov.com/animals/pdf/adoptionapp.pdf and submit your adoption application via fax 891-2977

  • My cat was hit by my neighbour and left paralazed in his 2 legs. with treatment his right leg is recovered almost fully. but his left is still paralyzed enough to make his life difficult. I'm thinking that amputation would be better .. what do you think?

  • i got a 3 legged cat who is amazing! <3

  • Four years ago I took in a small cat that I was feeding. He was limping badly and I had to catch him in a live trap. I kept him in a bedroom where he sat in a window seat but he wouldn't let me touch his leg or paw to see if something was injured. Turned out to be a compound fracture at the shoulder which required amputation. Even with only one front leg he does a great job of covering his poops and gets along well with nine other cats. Charlie's still afraid of me, yet sleeps on my bed!

  • I want this cat. Like really bad.

  • How cute...I actually had a three legged dog once named Tri-pod. Hope Kitty finds a great home.
