Jolene Sugarbaker visited the Doctor for an Annual Physical.
The Doctor tested her for many things: Diabetes, Arthritis Factors, Lyme Disease and more!
She passed with flying colors, even her nutrition came back fine!
However, Vitamin D was missing from her system.
Could this be because Jolene never goes out in the Sun?
Health Blogs rave that Vitamin D is a factor for great health.
So Jolene's Doctor prescribed her a big horse pill of VItamin D to take weekly
.
Questions for you :
Do you take Vitamin D?
Do you take Vitamins?
Do you believe Vitamins work?
What do you think you're missing in your diet?

I'm taking: multivitamin, aspirin 81 mg (for cardiovascular), flaxseed oil (also for cardiovascular), plus some Rx for diabetes and hypertension. Just got back very good lab results. I do worry about the Vitamin D and calcium, because I'm also staying out of the sun (afraid of skin cancer), but I do eat a lot of dairy. Those Vitamin D+calcium pills are big! I hate to take them because they're tough to swallow.

I spent 25 years working in the sun on a golf course. I'm taking time off for good behavior.
I do take a basic vitamin regimen, with a multivitamin, Lutein, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Fish oil, and one aspirin, every day. Been doing it for 30 years or so, and at the age of 67, I'm still not taking any actual "medications" at all. Knock on wood.....

I like the sun but it don't like me. Can't say I've been tested for that but I try to eat healthy. I don't like taking tablets as most of them disagree with me. The best bet is to take something that is herbal based instead of chemicals.
