Canoe Paddling Basics

This is an introductory video to a series providing some of the mechanics behind obtaining complete control of a canoe using the traditional "Canadian" style paddling handed down from aboriginal paddlers through generations of summer camp adaptations in the Canoe Country region of Ontario in Canada. Eventually this series will be available in a comprehensive DVD.

This is nothing short of amazing. The image detail is superb, the gentle, almost inaudible background music, and the underwater and overhead shots show what the blade and hands are doing in great detail. This is the perfect video for beginners like me.
