Yeah its weird borders don't mean a thing to deer. They just march right across from their woods in the U.S. to eat on fields in Canada. I however, need a passport.

Good place to watch for deer sneaking over the Canadian Border man : )

Come on Down to Texas! Dang deer all over the place. 2 bucks, 6 does, and a couple of young ones in the yard every day. Bring a sling shot!
Had to build a 7 foot fence to keep em out of the garden

@CooksGarden Minnesota has a lot of deer too. Usually I hunt on fields where you can see them it was just too brushy where I was here.

You were having a real Canadian Day I think the birds were Grey Jays also called Canada Jays, likely on their migration. I haven't seen one in years don't know what happened to them in this area.

@dalecalder2003 Thanks for identifying the birds for me. I wasn't sure what they were.

@SiriusLupis They like to be around people. My father told me when he was young the men worked in the woods in the winter cutting the wood for next years fire wood, at lunch time they would build a small fire to make tea and as soon as the smoke started to rise the Grey Jays would come right down around them looking for handouts.

@dalecalder2003 Thats a cool story. I was taken aback for a second when they flew up and landed so close.
