  • Yes that part is annoying. You have to buy quite a lot of fuel. I don't remember but I think the amount of health you have is equal to the amount of fuel you get. Shooting all the 20+ (or how many it was) ships is annoying.

  • @LarNor89 I beat that part, and now i-m doing the space ace bit.

I can-t seem to make it out alive, because i run out of fuel.

If i press down and hyperspace jump,i end up in a random location.

  • @piromaniac9999 A tip: If you go into a dungeon kill a bunch of monsters and then exit you get tons of health back, the more monsters you've slain the more health you get back plus of course all the exp and money. So stay on the first and second floors in the beginning until you have enough health and enough experience and enough money to buy better armor and weapons. Also remember to actually equip your weapon and armor.

    Hope it works out.

  • @kathyf123 I'm playing ultima 1 on dosbox, and that game fucks me up. I keep dying because i get gang banged.I can't seem to figure out how to survive.

I'm supposed to kill a gelatinous cube, but its on the third floor down of montor.

  • @DanJSchulte WTF? enemies respawn in real time too? just like ultima 1?

  • It wasn't due to the great DOS games of the 90's that we have the bi game labels, it was because of the huge sales of the Commodore 64 and then huge sales of the games because of that. That money gave them the funding to do the X-Com's and Ultima VII's and Doom's etc!

  • This game was so bad ass!!

  • This was a neat game. I still remember having that cloth map that came with the game, I thought that was one of the neatest thing. And plus, the Ankh symbol object too. Wow, seeing this intro takes me back.

  • watch in 240p...it adds AA

  • Seems the video's tunning a bit too fast, eh?

Ah, this game was super-excellent! Even the very floor on which you were standing would rise up to contend against you!

This is how an Adventure/RPG is done!
