Robert Culp guest starred on 2 episodes of the Rifleman. "The Hero" and "The Man from Salinas"He does some fancy gun twirling on the last episode. He also wrote a 2 part episode "Waste". He was in a lot of westerns and did trick shooting and riding at rodeos and fairs.
When McQueen guest starred on Trackdown he didn't know how to use a gun Culp showed him how to do it and in 2 days of practice Steve could draw just as fast as Culp.

The sheriff in this scene is Kenneth MacDonald, who was the villian in a lot of the Three Stooges shorts.

Culp was in the rifleman and he wrote episodes but the freakyest thing he did was the outer limits demon with the glass hand [ and i think he was the voice of the glass hand ] .
