@ashevillecat Naxalbadi is a little village in North Bengal from where the red rebellion started in 70s. Farmers of that village started an armed rebellion against Indian govt. Which spread all over the Bengal ..Indian government suppressed it by killing thousands of students and communists without any trial. Some were encountered and some were kidnapped and murdered. Even students who were just leftists were brutally tortured.
