@GrunterStool Well put argument. Islamic people are notorious for producing larger families than non Islamic people. Even with their current (for now) low level of representation, the push is on to for separate laws and amenities.

@heath2357 You actually did prove a few things. For one, you are ignorant of why people fly from their home countries to destinations where they can pay people smugglers. If they were genuine refugees, they wouldn't need to throw away their documents. They seek out countries specifically to become welfare parasites. @fitcheswarren A) ~2% of the people who immigrate to Australia via both Air and sea "boat people" are Muslim in origin, (.5% are boat people) B) The ones that do come here because of one of two reasons, The political situation in their previous country is not in line with their beliefs and immigrate here for the freedoms of Australia OR the living conditions are terrible (maybe weblew up their house) NB to say what cultural items people can wear would put us in line with Iran and North Korea

I do agree it should not be banned as a general rule, however, (in reference to the "p" 'plater' incident; my issue is not that she was wearing a 'burqa' perce, rather that, as with anything that obstructs/reduced the relative effectiveness your immediate field of vision should not be allowed while driving. example, I crack the shits with my best mate every time I see him driving with thick rimmed aviator sunglasses on (but he drives a ute so what can you expect)*trollface*
