Alfapop je bend koji prži već neko vreme po klubovima. Ne samo po Beogradu ali kada bih nabrajao sva mesta gde su krvarili prste na vratu gitare, lupali po bubnju do iznemoglosti, derali glas na dobrim i onim malo manje dobrim ozvučenjima ne bi bilo potrebe da Vas uputim na adresu http://www.myspace.com/alfapop. Upoznavši ovu ekipu shvatio sam da život nije sranje, da se treba smejati što češće i da ne treba odustajati. Takodje, ubedili su me da u maloj Srbiji fanovi bendova postoje, pesme se i dalje uče napamet, prvi red je i dalje za prvu gitaru a lepe žene i dalje vladaju. Alfapop je u supersoničnom studiju u Novom Sadu. Vajaju se budući hitovi. Veštost benda sa posebnom doradom neizbežno zvučaće dobro. Podrška Alfapop-u na ovoj elektronskoj stranici mozda zvuči previše subjektivno, s toga ostavljam Vašim ušima da probaju da me razuvere. Ipak, ne verujem da će Vaše uši reći drugačije. Ubedjen da će me u gužvi na Brankovom mostu Jovana, Joca i Ranko smarati sa svake radio stanice. Alfa-Respekt!

Alfapop was founded in 2008 by 3 multi-talented people, with an array of musical experience including reggae, ethno, rock, and classical, as well as music production. Their wish was to breathe fresh energy into the Serbian musical landscape. So far, the band members have recorded one album and 3 music videos while playing together in the band, Tir na nog, and have had numerous performances in various clubs and on TV stations in and around their home in Serbia.
The name Alfapop derives from the band's desire to create a powerful and compelling sound, alpha referring to the most aggressive and prominent form of pop. With a combination of powerful melodic vocal lines and energetic rhythm, the band strives to achieve this sound through the creation of power pop, the strongest sound in pop.

Alfapop has finished recording their first album in the ALPHA music studio in Novi Sad. The album consists of 10 songs. The first singl „Sati will be released in the compilation Online by the Croatian record label DOP records, on December, the 1st. Video for this song will appear at the same time. Album is expected to be released in Spring 2009. Meanwhile band is planing to have gigs, concerts, promotions, and to make more videos...
