  • 33-25-6, .904 save %, 2.74 gaa --- not HOF (by any stretch), but those are good #s, especially given the defense in front of him).

  • toskalas had a dissapointing seson so far. Ive noticed that alot of the goals hat he is giving up are over his shoulders. He goes down to make a save way to much. Another thing i noticed is that hes always way out of position when a shot comes. If he improves that hell gt way better as the seaon goes on

  • True, although it'll also help if Toronto's defense learns to play (they've looked horrible in front of him and Raycroft) --- the McCabe almost goal in regulation, followed by the own-goal in OT comes to mind...as does the team attempting to pass the puck in the neutral zone vs. Ottawa (instead of advancing up the ice)

  • Hes been awesome in the last couple weeks. Ive noticed he isnt going down to his knees taht much either.

  • this season hasn't been toskala's fault at all. a "new" starting goalie with a new team in one of the biggest markets in all of pro sports is going to be tough for anyone. It was clearly tough for Vesa at the start..but he's adjusting, in the last 2 1/2 weeks he's been the hottest goalie in the league by far. 2.02 GAA, .929 Save%

  • pickleroli45 is a fruitcake who does not know anything about goaltending.

He goes down too much? It's called a butterfly, and it's used by a majority of NHL goaltenders nowadays ;)

  • get rid of raycroft macabe and kubina and trade them 4 better defence!!!

  • hes had a very good season so far, hes got some things to work on but the leafs have been playin brutal defensively...toskala PWNS
