I'm on location at the Iyashi Bedrock Spa in Toronto, where I'll be practicing some yin yoga postures on a hot bedrock.
This is the first Japanese 'Ganbanyoku' rock bathing spa in North America, where you can sweat your stress, toxins, and calories away.

There are many benefits to rock bathing, from relaxation, stress relief, anti aging, and sickness prevention.

You will definitely come out of a treatment feeling more lighter, brighter and happier than you were before.

Rock bathing uses Black Silica stones that are imported from Japan.
They heat your body from the inside out, and naturally release Far Infrared Rays and Negative Ions to help the body perspire and "detoxify".
These stone beds are kept between 42 to 44 degrees Celsius with the humidity at 60%.
This is different than a sauna, as the heat rises evenly from the stones.

Lying on the hot bedrock, warmed my body to the core, I felt like I was on a hot island enjoying the heat, sweating out toxins, impurities and stress.
