Alatheia Alexandria. 2002 Morgan Mare, Just under 16H. This video is a composite of this talented mare showing over fences, dressage and schooling cross country. Inquires invited at Fashion Ranch Morgans, Conroe, TX. www.fashionranchmorgans.net
For the jumping, it is just a D-ring snaffle, kind of small (narrow) as she has a little mouth. The bit used in dressage is a double jointed loose ring snaffle. You might check her teeth. Mine get very sensitive when their teeth need floating. Also, I have to be very careful and even with that loose ring bit so that I don't pinch the corners of her mouth. I never have a problem with her being strong, but I have had a gelding in the past where i had to use a Kimberwick when fox hunting.
I'm just curious what kind of bit you're using on your mare? My morgan seems to have issues with just about every bit i try her in, is yours just a D ring snaffle? It's hard to tell from the video
