basically i think u are african america if:
ur parents were born in africa but u were born in america.
u know which COUNTRY in africa u are from.
ur ancestors were NOT slaves.

and u are black american if:
ur ancestors were slaves.
as far as u can search ur family has been in america.
u do not know which african country u are orignially from.

Good observation and self insight. I am a White American. Irish mostly. I know African Immigrants here in the States and in Europe. I also have alot of African Americans close friends. I guess your point is correct in the fact that Naturalised African citizens are aware of thier ancentral culture. African Americans who have been here for generations usualy do not. Records are hard to come by and also there is a general lack of intrest. AM have established thier own identity and cling to it.

@nyeeezy yeah there's alot of self hatred with some people of Caribbean descent too. I know my parents are both from there... but some people who are from there hate anything to do with Africa. It's ridiculous considering their ancestors are from there. internalized racism. It's a pride thing... there cultures are similar because we derived from African culture but there's still animosity.

These are the color scriptures on the jews in the bible. Exodus 2:17-19(moses was mistaken to be an egyptian but was a hebrew), lamentations 4:8, 5:10, jeremiah 8:21, job 30:30, song of solomon 1:5, rev 1:14-15, daniel 10:6, jeremiah 14:2. What happened to these jews was the slave trade. How the jews even got to africa? read luke 21:20-21. The mountains Christ was referring to was egypt. When u look up the history, over a million jews fled jerusalem and went to africa.

The africans sold the JEWS(which were blacks) to the white man in exchange for guns. In ancient times(biblical days) the Jews were black ppl too, just like the africans, and every race on earth EXCEPT for the white man.
