ArtCAM Express Demo #3 (3 of 3) - This video shows off ArtCAM Express and using the program to take a sign from concept to finished part. You will see many of the 2D CAD functions that are used
in the design stage of this sign. This video also shows off loading in pre-created 3D files using the 3D clipart library (400+ 3D pieces) that's included with the ArtCAM Express software.
Once the sign is designed and the 3D components added into the design its then time to create toolpaths and machine the sign design. a good range of toolpaths are used for manufacturing this
sign that range from simple 2D toolpath all the way upto the basic 3D machining required to cut the 3D elements of this sign. The use of form tools is shown in order to create an ornate border
around the outside of the sign. You will also see the simulation aspect of the software being used in order to proof and verify that the toolpaths are correct and ready to be run on a CNC machine.
