  • I MUST SAY, HOWEVER:

    In chamblee's defense, we have had no percussion instructor of any sort in the past, and have learned, taught, and performed every event with a student led drumline. We have room for improvement, yes, but doesn't everyone? I think we sound pretty damn good.

    [And in case anyone is curious, Im the tenor player (black guy) that dropped my stick ;) ]

  • First of all I want to point out that no one has trash talked dunwoody, so the trash talking of chamblee is unnecessary.

    Second, these two schools are both very talented, in different ways. Chamblee is clearly superior in its creativity and showmanship, while dunwoody has got rudiments, cleanliness and technique down pat.

    All in all, this was a very good drumline challenge because everything was there. Rivalry, solos, section solos, and good playing. I think I speak for both sides (at least the

  • chamblee got you guys on showmanship for sure. you guys down there, its not too hard to guess where you go. chamblee is not ghetto, they do not have a bad line at all. remember, they do what they do completely on their own. no money for nice equipment like dunwoody's, no money for a drum instructor, and not a super amazing band program anyways. chamblee, y'all keep up the good work. it sounds good

  • Dunwoody im digin your snares but your tenner and bass need some harder parts but other that that sounds sweet
