  • continued.. This doesnt mean you have a blown headgasket.. The real way to check for a blown head gasket is to buy a tool and put it on the radiator fill hole and follow the intructions.

    Or watch for bubbles in the radiator, or pull the dipstick if the oil is white then thats bad, but white on top of the cap means nothing

  • What and idiot. So oil or dusty carbon on the exhaust manifold imediatly means the lifters are bad ? HAHAHAHAHA ? White stuff on the oil cap doesnt mean jack shit. The oil cap is the coldest part of the engine itself, gasoline has a small amount of water in itself. When it gets burned some of the water/exhaust gets pushed out the PVC valve and then back into the exhaust out the tailpipe. When the engine is turned off water from condensation reachs the oil cap and can make this white
